As a result of our master planning process, United Local Schools will construct a new K-12 school to house all students on one campus. Our district established a Community Advisory Team (CAT) to consider the details of the plan and ensure that the project meets our community’s needs and desires. Click here to learn more about the CAT process.
The new K-12 school will provide our students and staff with an inspiring academic setting that features bright daylight spaces, hands-on learning labs that build real-world skills, flexibly-designed academic spaces that support new delivery models now and in the future as well as enhanced co- and extracurricular spaces. The new building will also reduce maintenance and operating costs by way of energy-efficient systems.
Our district accepted an offer from the State of Ohio that will provide almost $25M toward the construction of the new K-12 school. Best of all, we are able to accomplish all of this without increasing local taxes of any kind due to recent increases in oil and gas-related tax revenues.
